Brookline's girls soccer team climbed one spot to No. 7 in the Bay State Conference Week 2 power rankings after a 2-1 win over Milton.

The victory evened the Warriors' record at 1-1 following a 5-0 loss to top-ranked Needham on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Milton, which fell to 1-1 after the defeat, sits one spot behind Brookline at No. 8 in MassLive's weekly BSC poll, published Wednesday, Sept. 16.

Brookline entered the season ranked No. 8 in the preseason poll after going 6-8-5 in 2025. The Warriors earned the No. 13 seed in the Division I state tournament last year but fell in the opening round in a shootout, according to MassLive's preseason rankings.

Needham leads the conference at 3-0. Defending D-I state champion Natick is second at 1-0.
