Brookline High's volleyball team rallied from a first-set loss to beat Natick 3-1 on Tuesday, Oct. 20, staying perfect in Bay State Conference play.

The Warriors won 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-19 in Natick, improving to 12-1 overall and 11-0 in the Bay State Conference (BSC), according to the Boston Herald. Brookline is the only BSC team without a conference loss, the Herald reported.

Coach Caitlin Sobolewski, in her eighth year leading the program, has the Warriors chasing their first Bay State Conference title under her watch. Brookline's lone loss this season came against Winchester, the top-ranked team in Division I.

Brookline was ranked No. 1 in the state in MassLive's Oct. 13 Division I power rankings. The Warriors run a 6-2 offense with setters Nora Mullen and Isabella Wong distributing to hitters including All-State selection Molly Tipton, sophomore Ryan Fenton-Hilt, senior Mia Jones and junior Cori Cenac. Cenac, a 6-foot-1 junior middle attacker, transferred to Brookline from Louisiana. She is the younger sister of Chris Cenac Jr., the Boston Celtics' first-round pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

"We all know how to hit. We also all know how to hit balls that aren't perfect," Tipton told the Boston Globe in an Oct. 9 profile. "Low, high, off, in, outside the antenna, inside. We know how to do it all."

Brookline hosts Newton North on Thursday, Oct. 22, and welcomes Wellesley on Tuesday, Oct. 27, to close out Carey Division play.
