Natick handed Brookline a 2-1 loss at Harry Downes Field on Monday, Sept. 28, dropping the Warriors to 3-3-2 on the season.

The Bay State Conference Carey Division matchup was Brookline's third straight home game. Natick improved to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play, according to game records. Brookline fell to 1-1-1 in the division.

The defeat ended a two-game unbeaten run for the Warriors, who beat Framingham 6-0 and tied Lexington 2-2 in their previous outings. Through eight games, Brookline has outscored opponents 13-8, per MaxPreps.

Elsewhere in the Carey Division on Monday, Milton defeated Wellesley 3-1.

Brookline travels to Wellesley on Wednesday, Sept. 30, for a 6 p.m. league game, then hosts Arlington on Friday, Oct. 2, and Weymouth on Monday, Oct. 5.
