A residential Halloween display at 111 Gerry Rd. is open daily and free to visit through Oct. 31.

The Haunting on Gerry Road is a home-built yard haunt featuring a graveyard, an army of the dead, Goosebumps monsters, Beetlejuice and Hocus Pocus characters, horror movie legends and a headless horseman. FrightMaps, a Halloween attraction directory, rates the display's scare level as "Boo-Lite" and labels it family-friendly.

The display opened Sept. 24 and runs through the end of October.

A Patch statewide roundup published Oct. 7 listed the Gerry Road haunt among Greater Boston Halloween attractions alongside displays in Boston, Framingham, Newton and other communities.

No admission fee. Open daily at 111 Gerry Rd., Brookline, MA 02467.
