Lumin Health began seeing patients in its permanent sixth-floor office at 1101 Beacon St. in Brookline on Tuesday, Oct. 13, following a move from temporary space in the same building.
The behavioral health provider, which specializes in treatment-resistant depression, had operated from a 3,300-square-foot office on the fourth floor while its permanent space was built upstairs, according to an announcement from building owner The Hamilton Company.
“The Hamilton Company was a great partner throughout this transition, and our team was able to continue seeing patients at 1101 Beacon Street while our permanent home was being built above us,” said Aakash Sathappan, the Brookline site’s medical director and a lecturer in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
Hamilton arranged the medical office build-out, with CBC Construction serving as general contractor and Martinkovic Milford Architects as project architect.
Founded in 2021, Lumin provides esketamine, sold as Spravato, and ketamine-based treatments. Brookline is one of five locations, alongside Newton, Cambridge, Woburn and Bethesda, Md.
The company says it accepts Medicare and most major private insurance plans. For insured Spravato patients, it reports typical out-of-pocket costs of $10 to $25 per session, with coverage and estimated costs verified during intake. That estimate applies specifically to Spravato treatment.
The office is near Hawes Street Station on the Green Line’s C Branch. Patients can call 617-925-9852 or visit Lumin’s Brookline page for information. The website still lists the former fourth-floor suite, so patients should confirm directions with the clinic.
