Wonder, the multi-concept food hall company, opens its Coolidge Corner location at 392 Harvard St. on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 10:30 a.m.

The Brookline spot will be Wonder's 21st location in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, according to Patch. The company plans to open 20 new locations across the two states in 2026.

The food hall model lets customers order from more than two dozen restaurant concepts in a single transaction. The Brookline location's online page lists Bobby Flay Steak, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, Di Fara Pizza, Tejas Barbecue, SriPraPhai, Maydan and Dabba Indian Kitchen among roughly 30 options. Dine-in, pickup and delivery are all available.

An invite-only ribbon-cutting is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Brookline Booksmith and Vinodivino, both Harvard Street businesses, are expected to take part. Boston-based artist Julia Emiliani, whose work appears at other Wonder locations in Massachusetts, will hold a live printing demonstration.

The public opening on Thursday, Sept. 24, will include giveaways for the first 100 customers and discounts for new and existing customers. Boston College mascot Baldwin the Eagle is scheduled to appear from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Customers will also be able to round up purchases to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank. In an October 2025 Boston Magazine preview of Wonder's Greater Boston expansion, senior vice president and general manager Courtney Lawrie described the appeal of the multi-menu model. "You might want Thai, but someone you're having over wants pizza," Lawrie told the magazine.

Marc Lore, the former president and CEO of Walmart's U.S. e-commerce division and Jet.com founder, started Wonder in 2018. The company began with mobile kitchens before shifting to brick-and-mortar locations. It has since acquired meal-kit service Blue Apron and food delivery platform Grubhub.

Wonder already operates in Medford, Cambridge, Belmont, Newton, Watertown, Natick, Framingham, Burlington, Canton and Acton. Worcester and Bellingham locations are also planned.

Regular hours at 392 Harvard St. are listed as 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily.
